On friday- 1st Feb 2008 This is the first day of the camp, honestly i am not very happy when in school that morning. As usual, in the morning i will go and get the key for the duty person especially the friday duty people. Friday duty people are all the late-comers of the school every now and then. So i decided to help them get the key and open the room for them so that when they come to school just on time, they will have the time to set-up the mike. But always the good people has no rewards only got scolding. Ok is true that too many people were upstairs and Mrs Chin can't scold AVA members like that. If there is no people came to set-up the mike before 7.30am. No one can use anything to talk then AVA also will be scolded not only one group of people but the whole club..... People will start to say "AVA is a lousy club and all the members are irresponsible and not loyal to the club...." Then how will other people react? How will other people come and join the club no one will? Now i am saying very furiously that "Mrs Chin YOU SHOULD SHOW A GOOD EXAMPLE TO ALL THE TEACHERS AND STUDENTS NOT ONLY IN THE WORK AND EFFORT YOU HAVE PUT IN TO THE SCHOOL BUT THE THINGS YOU REACT TO THE STUDENTS WHEN THEY ARE IN WRONG. YOU SHOULD ASK THE STUDENTS WHAT HAPPEN AND WHY THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE UP THERE BEFORE YOU SCOLD THEM! MRS CHIN I CAN TELL YOU THIS AS A PRINCIPAL IS NOT THE BIGGEST ROLE IN THE SCHOOL. IS THE STUDENTS. WITHOUT THE STUDENTS HOW GOOD IS YOU HOW MUCH YOUR EFFORT YOU PUT IN TO THE STUDENTS THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO.... SO I AM TELLING YOU THIS VERY STRICTLY IN FRONT OF THE BLOG EVEN THE MOE OR WHOEVER COME DOWN AND CATCH ME I ALSO NOT SCARE. I HAVE BEEN THINKING OF WHAT YOU THINK WHEN YOU SCOLDED ME THAT DAY.... I KEPT THINKING AM I IN THE WRONG? AM I IN THE WRONG BEFORE I WROTE DOWN THIS POST? NOW I CAN TELL YOU THE ANSWER I CAN TELL YOU 100% I AM NOT IN THE WRONG. FROM THE BEGINING OF THE YEAR I THINK BEFORE I SPEAK SO I KNOW AM I IN THE WRONG ON THE OTHER PERSON. MRS CHIN I CAN TELL YOU I HAVE 100% I AM NOT IN THE WRONG SO THAT DAY WHAT YOU SAID ALL THE RUBBISH I WILL NOT ACCEPT AND 1 MORE THING BEFORE I CLOSE THIS POST IS THAT: NEXT TIME DON'T HOPE TO SEE ME UPSTAIRS UNLESS I AM DOING DUTY. AND DON'T HOPE THAT THAT DAY YOU ARE GIVING A SPEACH AND I AM NOT ON DUTY DON'T I MEAN DON'T EVER HOPE TO SEE ME HELPING YOU...... I REPEAT DON'T HOPE TO HELP YOU AGAIN...... MRS CHIN PLEASE GO BACK AND REFLECT ON YOURSELF..... I HOPE SOMEONE OR YOU YOURSELF CAN SEE THIS POST......... During this camp is a sad one and I learnt a lot of things from it. The camp teach a lot of character building and self-discipline is the most important thing in the camp they emphasis. Before i join this camp i guess that this camp will be a tortue and it will emphasis on the self-discipline. The Rules are like that: 1. When you forget to tuck in your shirt you need to do 20 push-up. 2. When you speak or communicate with your friends, you need to do 20 push-up. 3. When 1 person is late, not that person doing the punishment, the whole team will be doing the punishment so it is quite suffering in there. But i like the punishment it will help you to learn even better. 4. During dinner all the students are not allowed to eat until everyone gets their food. This is like Army style. This camp the biggest challenge to me is to deal with my own group. This camp is quite a small one as it only have 30 students in the campsite. On Saturday morning the ACS students join us in the rock climbing area where they called "hard rock site". You need to have a helmet to enter the place. In this area i hate is the log walking. I can't stand myself of looking downwards then i will be scared. After that i will held on to the belay rope and walk over. Actually this log walking is to challenge your confidence and the trust with your teammates. You need to trust them holding the rope tightly. Otherwise accidentally if you fall they can't catch hold of you then you will fall to the ground. The biggest challenge is when i have been elected as the leader of the day so that everyone can take turn to change to lead the whole group. But before i have elected to become the leader, i know this group and this few days will be the suffering that i will need to overcome it. This is my obstacles and a great challenge to my personalities as the camp days passed. On the day we reached the camp we start of a few things like grouping of the people and the things like rules and regulations, allocation of the sleeping area and the teacher in-charge. After that they break into groups to play games such as: ice-breaker, cat & mouse, wacker and naming person. Then when we finished briefing from the teacher-in-charge- Ms Neo. We go into our groups and play the 4 stations where the teachers came up with 4 different sums in different stations. To me as a leader i need to take care of the team and give them instructions and correct them when they are wrong. But when ..... in my group i felt that i have in a great pain dealing with him. He sort of mental problem or suffering from some illness. When i gave the instructions he always change my instructions and everyone will follow him. So i felt myself having a great problem dealing with my members. As time passes in the camp i start to shut-off myself, stop giving instructions and giving comments let them lead themself. So i felt Quite lost...... And the next day, finally someone taking over the leaders role. Now i know the cause and effect is always present in everyone life not only in Nichren Diashionin's buddhism disciples. It happens to everyone in this world as long as you are a living thing you will face the cause and effect law. As he was elected to be the second leader, he gave instructions at the begining, everyone will follow [including me] after awhile starting to fade off no one listen his instructions. Then no one give some instructions so i came back and gave some...... It is very interesting of this law cause and effect...... We must really respect this law. [next time i will explain in the blog what is this cause and effect means]. Overall this camp is very fun and learn a lot of things.

KAIYANG AND BUDI MUST ALWAYS BE MY BEST FRIENDS. FURTHERING STRENGTHEN THIS FRIENDSHIP TO BECOME A UNSHAKEABLE BY BOTH OF US. HE WILL ALWAYS BE THERE AT ANYTIME.CALVIN CHONG CAN BE MY BEST FRIEND AND HE MUST COME OUT FOR ACTIVITIES. 5. CALVIN CHEONG MUST NOT BE ANGRY WITH ME AND MUST COME OUT FOR ACTIVITIED AND CONTINUE HIS JOURNEY OF HUMAN RELOLUTION. 6. DERRICK TING, JUN HONG AND OTHER FD STUDENTS MUST COME OUT FOR ACTIVITIES AND START TO PRACTICE THE BUDDHISM. I MUST PULL THAT DERRICK TING & JUN HONG TO BECOME A GREAT LEADER IN THE FUTURE. 7. I MUST GO TO THE TRIP IN CAMBODIA FOR THE TRIP HELPING THE NEEDYS OR TRAINING TO BECOME A GREAT LEADER. LEARNING AND HELPING THE POOR, KNOWING THEIR PAIN. 8. TARGETING TO HAVE 10 POINTS AND BELOW [SINGLE DIGIT] FOR MY O’LEVELS IN 2009. 9. KELVIN WONG, DE YUAN, ZHI JIE, MS WEE, LIPING AND BUDI MUST COME OUT FOR OUR ACTIVITIES. 10. THERE MUST BE A SUM OF MONEY TO DO MY KOSEN-RUFU NO MATTER I EARN IT OR OTHER SOURCE OF INCOME. 11. MISUNDERSTANDING AND PROBLEMS THAT I HAVE WITH MY FRIENDS ALL WILL BE DELETED. 12. HOMEVISITING STUDENTS MUST BE ABLE TO COME OUT FOR ACTIVITIES. 13. THE FRIENDSHIP WITH MY NEW CLASSMATES NEXT YEAR MUSTN’T HAVE ANY COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS. 14. THE REPUTATION IN SOKA AND SCHOOL MUST BE VERY GOOD. NO COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS WITH MY PEERS AND OTHER PEOPLE. 15. TARGETING 19 FD STUDENTS IN MY FD MEETING & DISTRICT. 16. THIS YEAR ALL THE NON-ACTIVE FD MEMBERS MUST COME OUT FOR ACTIVITIES. 17. EVERYONE WILL BE STRUGGLING WITH OBSTACLES AND PROBLEMS AND OVERCOME THEM. 18.
